Our event organiser was pleased to meet Past Pupil, Kay Flower, for the first time at the Mark Rocket event. She was astonished however to learn that Kay had flown down from Warkworth for the day especially to come to hear Mark speak.
She comments, “it was quite a treat to be down at my old school after such a long time, and now a really amazing school! Mark was a good speaker and it was great to meet him. I live around the corner from Rocket Lab. The site/factory was purchased a few years ago from Russell Coutts where they made masts etc.”
