We are very happy to introduce to you our newest Trustee, Ric Horsfall, LHS 1985-89. While many of you will know him well for his huge passion for cricket, he brings to our Foundation the benefits of his extensive business skills in strategic decision-making and risk management developed over many years within commercial and cricket not-for-profit organisations.
Ric is currently a Director at Canterbury Cricket Association (CCA) where he provides strategic direction and governance, ensuring legal and ethical operations.
As Chair of the Sir Richard Hadlee Sports Centre fundraising committee, he and his committee raised $1.6M for project completion.
Recognised as a Life Member of Lancaster Park Cricket, he has also led initiatives that help to enhance the prominence of cricket associations in New Zealand.
We welcome Ric not only for his impressive array of skills but also because he lowers the collective age of our Trustees by quite a bit!
